I refresh mine and hubbys all day long too!

About the second week. I'm sure they have some sort of system that they just input the case # into it, and it sends the schedule to the Embassy. Maybe they have a few people doing that? Maybe they separate per region? Latin America is one person in charge, Europe another, bla bla bla....

I don't know... just guessing...

I'm also very :wacko: for not having the date yet. Oh come on, just send it to meeee!!!

Guys!! Today's dragging on. Has anyone called today or are we all bombarding them tomorrow and Monday? What about weekend plans?

I wish Mr. Sachinky could be here for the interview but given that earlier he didn't even remember WHEN our interview is scheduled for, it is probably best that I navigate this alone. (Plus, USC petitioners aren't allowed inside and I doubt he'd get time off.)

I yelled at him, "MAY 12, MAY 12, you can't remember such a simple and important date?"

He replied that in between remembering my birthday and our anniversary, some things were bound to slip his mind. :bonk:

Mr. Bears is a lucky gu having a nurse to take care of him year round:) You're right. You'll have no problem finding a job in these two fields. 10 years ago, engineers are in high demand. I don't think that's the case any more.

Congrats guys on your SIF/CC! I almost fell out my chair when the operator told me that my case was complete. I'm so excited. Hopefully we get our interview dates soon. I'm hoping for a date after March 14th. :dance:

7/12/2008 Filed I-130.

3/1/2010 Initiated Payment of IV Processing Fee says "IN PROCESS".

3/9/2010 IV Processing Fee says "PAID".

3/23/2010 DS-230 and civil documents FedExed to NVC.(should arrive 10:30 3/24)

3/24/2010 DS-230 and civil docs received by NVC. Signed by K. StLaurent.

04/05/2010 Case complete @ NVC according to AVR. Sign In Failed.

5/12/2010 Hubby's Going to get Medical Exam done.

5/13/2010 Med Exam should be completed and picked up.

5/14/2010 Our son and I are meeting Hubby in Barbados.

I would hope there's still a demand for engineers. That's hard! To me that's a guaranteed employment for life field. But then y friend's dad used to be an engineer. Now he drives trucks cross country. He seems happy, but I wonder how he feels about all that schooling.
