I stopped tracking that DHL website a long time ago. It's useless..... And there are a lot of K1 for the Consulate in BR. So not worth it.

About calling after the 16th... hmmm I think we have to bug them before they stop scheduling, otherwise they will say: "sorry we just finished scheduling for May, you have to wait till second week of June".

By June I'd have hanged myself to death!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably too early. You just got a case complete yesterday...normally it takes a couple of days after that for them to send it.

Eh. It's fun to speculate about the packages. No stress, just something to do.

I think the ones who got interviews a few days after their CCs were lucky. It had to have been more of a "filling the empty slots at the end of the month" situation. But for us, we're really in the "second week of the month scheduling" bit. Good news is that today is Wednesday. I'm going to keep playing with the DHL once a day. This weekend's gonna be good. There's a big celebration lined up for Sunday afternoon. Woo! I'll bring back lots of food porn, too.

Does the AVR system tell you if an interview has been scheduled?

mmmm, I found one package mailed from NVC to Saudi Arabia on April 6th -> delivered April 7th !!

As far as I know, NVC mails your package to US Embassy only if an interview has been scheduled? Right?

Thats correct.

AVR does not update about the interview scheduling. However AVR does update to "your case has been forwarded to the embassy" once your interview is scheduled and when the packet is sent out.

Just called AVR and says "your case was completed on March 31st bla bla bla"

I guess no interview date, nothing has been forwarded to the Embassy yet.
