NVC April 2010 Edition!

Soooo, I deleted my DHL bookmark and now can't remember how to track packages, lol

I enter the date of APril 1 and the range april 1-6 and this as the reference EXP 1 APR 2010A and it says no shipments found. Am I doing it right and is that what other people see?

Thanks Yulechka!! THat was the problem.... I can't believe it, something was shipped out yesterday to Tirana, I am sure it is mine.... So, yes, does that mean the interview date is scheduled already or no way of knowing? WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW : )

You were forgetting the 01. The date has to be two numeric spots..01, 07..etc

You're right, thank you Kevin!! I've been MIA for awhile, since a package was sent out yesterday, does that mean the date is set, or not necessarily? Do they send the packages before interviews are scheduled?

I haven't been assigned an interview date yet but I just saw that a package was delivered at the Islamabad embassy on the 7th of April. My case got completed on the 5th of April. Could this package be mine? I thought they sent the package after assigning the interview date. Does anyone know?

I don't think it necessarialy means there's an interview scheduled. sachi said she thought the interview was set by email between NVC and the respective embassy and that the package was just your submitted docs. The impression I got was it really wasn't an indicator that your interview had been set

FIRST the interview is scheduled.... THEN the package is sent to the embassy... Sometimes there is a lag of a few days to a week from the time the interview is scheduled to when the package is sent to the Consulate... Packages are not sent to the Consulate until the interview is set (unless it is an expedite situation)

No, it's fine! after the RFE heck I've been in, nothing is bad news anymore : ) Yes, the interviews are set up via email with NVC and the individual embassies. I wouldn't be surprised if they send the packets through the mail first because who knows how long it takes to some of the countries!

hubby received some sort of email or MAIL today.

he sent me a message. i am guessing it may be his DS-3032. maybe it never made it to the NVC?

if that is the case they must have processed and accepted the email version we sent.

either way, super confused right now, and cannot call him until later. darn 14 hour time difference.

This makes me feel evil...I called hubby 30 times in one night because he wouldn't pick up the phone. He gave NVC the wrong email address...I was Mad!!!

I don't think I will even try to track it. There are so many ppl interviewing at Mumbai Embassy that who knows when your packet is sent there.
