NVC April 2010 Edition!

I got it appoved on 3/29 and got my case number yesterday from NVC. The AVR still have no information regarding my appliction. I reccomend you to talk with a customer service rep.

Hi All,

My wife's I130 was approved on 03/26.

As of today, NVC has not yet received the case.

Do I need to wait some more time ?

So! Who's up for drinks on a Tuesday? One of our employees up and quit at lunch today. Oh yes... drinks tonight.

Thank you, BB and Tharnsur. Sawadii pii mai kha. I know I have to be brave and talk to them. The problem is this: Yes, I speak Thai just fine. But when there are lots of people, I get self-conscious. Husby's mother is the oldest of 11. Two have passed on. So that makes 9. Minus MIL is 8. Of those 8, I've met 3. So that leaves 5 more aunts and uncles plus their spouses, children, and grandchildren to meet/talk to on Skype. Things will go how they should, though.

I dunno what to say for all of you with cases in India. It sounds like VFS is not much fun. On the bright side, it doesn't sound like it's too difficult, either. How are the interviews?

What about all my friends with hearts in the Phils? One of the nurses here said something about a seminar. ?? What's it for? What do they teach you?

Now that I'm okay with our CC status, I wanna know all about what y'all have to look forward to.

Bangkok -- Husby will get a medical. X-ray. Bloodwork. Then interview. 4 or 5 simple questions. All evidence is submitted to the consulate on the morning of the interview. Then come back to pick up the visa 3 days later.

I was NOT expecting a SIF, I just checked the payment portal to torture myself and I had a SIF.....don't know when it changed. Icalled NVC and operator said CC as of April 1-"it's not an April Fools joke" she said LMAO! I missed April (duh) but mayyybe May :thumbs:

I don't know what the heck happened, I TOLD them they had all of my documents! STUPID RFE!
