Yah, but like Yohino said - you will hear from an operator FIRST and then the interview letter will follow. Hers was about 10 days after SIF - so that would put us at end of this week. Maybe sooner? I think I shall call every night. Beginnning with tonite.

That is true. First the 'awesome' operators then the email. Argh I just wish I wouldn't have to call them anymore.

So, whats the plan? Call tonite?

I hope they can give you some good news!

Good luck! Let us know what they say....

:crying: Nothing good. Operator said that my file is in review & to allow 10-15 days & they haven't received my mail yet :crying:

Planning on calling the AVR & checking the sign on page quite often today. I might call to speak to the operator once more in the evening.

ANEUDY

I WILL WRITE IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH AS I WANT TO SAVE YOU FROM AN ANEURISM IN YOUR BRAIN

NO VAS A CONSEGUIR NADA LLAMANDO AL NVC PORQUE TU CASO ES F1 NO ES PRIORITARIO COMO LO SON LOS DE CASADOS CON CIUDADANO O HIJOS MENORES DE EDAD.. YO TE DIJE QUE VI UN MILAGRO DE ALGUIEN QUE COMPLETO EN DICIEMBRE Y LO ASIGNARON ENTREVISTA PARA MAYO ES UN MILAGRO PORQUE LO NORMAL ES 8-9 MESES DESPUES DE CASO COMPLETADO QUE ASIGNEN ENTREVISTA.. SI QUIERES LLAMA SOLO LOS 15 DE CADA MES PERO NO LLAMES TODOS LOS DIAS

YOU KNOW THAT YOU WONT GET ANYTHING CALLING NVC AS YOU KNOW THAT YOUR CASE IS UNDER THE CATEGORY OF SON/DAUGHTER OLDER THAN 21... IS NOT THE SAME PRIORITY DATE AS THE ONE THAT ARE MARRIED TO A CITIZEN OR UNDER AGE CHILDREN..I TOLD YOU THAT I SAW A MIRACLE OF SOMEBODY FROM THE SPANISH FORUM UNDER YOU SAME CATEGORY THAT COMPLETE ON DICEMBER AND RECEIVE THE INTERVIEW DATE FOR MAY THIS IS A MIRACLE AS THE NORMAL IS 8-9 MONTHS AFTER THE CASE COMPLETE.. IF YOU WANT CALL EVERY 15TH OF EACH MONTH BUT DONT WASTE MINUTES CALLING EVERYDAY

SE TE QUIERE!!!!WITH LOVE

I'll try to call tonite too. Oh mannnnn just set the date!!! JUST SEEET THE DATEEEEE!!!! lol

Taty -> I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. After I sent my RFE I waited 8 business day to get LIF. They take forever to review RFEs. In your case I'd try to talk to a supervisor and see if he can pull that document from your USCIS package.

How did everything go with the lawyer? I rooting for you chica!!!! It will happen!

My goodness that sucks SJ. Seriously. The curfew lift is GOOD, but still I feel your frusteration with things despite. Hang in there (easy to say, I know) but as all things have a reason for being, there is a reason for this as well and some higher force interfering for the betterment, I assure you! Keep us posted. I kno you must be worried sick about your wife. In our prayers and we are behind you 100%

Thanks for the kind words Ats, all this ####### was really getting on my nerves. I was really hoping we could all end this together, but like you said, there's probably a good reason why this is happening. I just hope this makes our relationship stronger. I am worried sick about her well-being, although where she lives is relatively been quiet during the riots.Another reason why I hate politics, especially when it involves Indian politicans....

Good luck in the rest of your journey and good luck to everyone else...

Keep the faith and godspeed VJers!!

Thank you! I just want to make for May interview!

Tatyana, did you check out the Bombay interview date schedules (http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/media/pdf-visas/iv_appnts_may2010.pdf). as much as I hope and pray for you to get a May interview (that's when I'm hoping for my wife from out of Chennai), a lot of the dates looked booked. I hope that list is not comprehensive and that there will be cancellations. Maybe you can cite urgency, given that you are a new mother and all?

Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale - My beautiful wife Soni

I sure hope so! I just hope that I SIF this week & make it with May interview when they schedule "2nd week of April" when ever that is. Sorry all but by NVC not being able to tell whats the 2nd week of April  sort of benefits me in a way.

They can take all the notes they want. They may have enough to write a book but I am calling them twice a day until I get a SIF. Call me  but oh well

Thank you! I did talk to the supervisor & she said she would have the I-130 file pulled but will take 10-15 days.

It's drama with the attorney. Drama that I did not need but what to do.

I hear you. I can relate - although not as serious as the conditions your wife is under presently. I think things would be less anxious for me if my husbands living conditions were more secure. Right now, he has not signed another lease because of this and we are paying so much for him to have a little room he is renting which is close to work. Not very good living conditions for him as the room he is in is infested - roaches, rats. No fridge for him and basically he eats at work and does his laundry there as well. (Thankfully the hotel where he works feeds a meal to their staff and since he works in the laundry, can launder his clothes) the property owners we are renting from are glorious people, but have to make a living and I dont think they even know how bad the bugs are. We wont complain - and just are anxious to get this interview over with so we can start this life together. I worry for him everyday and its amazing I have gone this lone (3 mos at NVC almost) without seriously losing my head... :(

Godspeed to all is right SJ! The power of prayer for all of us is needed.. I keep telling myself, it could be worse! (F)

You are a true example of someone who loved a person for who they are rather than what they are worth...

Hope he stays safe and I hope he comes over soon so he doesnt have to deal with the misery any more, and neither do you for that matter... It's been about 10 month since I saw my wife, but at least I'm glad she's safe with her parents there. She was literally crying the other day about how much she misses me,and how long it's been, but when I reminded her about the fact that it was only a couple months out that we would be together again, it brought a smile to her face. But it makes me feel bad coz I've been telling her that for the last few months now...

I hope your hubby stays safe and gets to eat well so he can build up some energy, coz I know you're gonna drain him to exhaustion once he's here ... and to think that we call this "relaxing" B-)

Yikes - thats not the case for China, at the IV Unit in Guangzhou.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
