NVC April 2010 Edition!

The thing is, Raj, when our AOS went to NVC, the 2009 taxes were not included then.

Since our interview is in May, I am certain they will be asked for since the filing deadline is April 15. My joint sponsor, my cousin, is refusing to send them to me citing his privacy concerns regarding his confidential information. My FIL is willing to step in. So now I don't know what to do.

I'm not sure what happens if this yanking were to happen at the interview.

Hey guys I have a quick question the AVR says that NVC has reviewd and found some missing documents,I called couple weeks ago and the operator told that I need to send the DS-230.. NVC has received my DS-230 on March 29 at 9:30am.. as of today it still says they havent received my DS-230.

How long does it take NVC to update ???

3-4 days.

Tatyana, I hope yours comes quickly. It seems like they're taking 3 or 4 days to open the mail and input it. So Wednesday, no? Then, maybe since they already looked at your stuff (otherwise, how would they know to request the waiver from you) it will only be a day or two for them to check over it. So Friday maybe. Yay! Yes, our household size is 2. But AOS is evaluated at the discretion of the CO during the interview and I don't want to take any chances as my husband's income is not way above the PG that we'd be totally safe.

I'm here in the April NVC group... just sent in everything with the IV packet being received on 03/26/10. Just impatiently waiting for my log-in to fail! Hopefully everything will work out without an RFE, can not WAIT for all of this to be over and to finally be with my husband

I'd think that it would really throw a monkey wrench in the whole thing if you added a co-sponsor at this point sachi. You're approved as you stand now. I think if it were me, I'd take my income proof, asset proof and the back up sponsor info with me to the interview. I can't help but think changing something at this point could put you in AR or worse. Maybe I'm wrong but I think I'd bank on being above the minimum requirements.

Good luck...BTW I saw one package left NVC to chennai on 1st April....Do u think is there a chance that might be mine that got dispatched....If so, how can I confirm it....Did u called the Mumbai consulate to confirm ur's...

Hi Sachinky,

I read your other post and I guess you recently graduated from a US university (if not most likely towards

the end of your graduation).

CO will mostly likely will look at the totality of the case and my gut feeling is that he

might definitely be tempted to believe you will work (because you are a graduate) and that should reduce the financial burden on your

hubby. overall, If I were you I will not be concerned.
