My story...we were both in Bangladesh for work, him a footballer and me in Human Resources for a large corporation. We met but just as friends until he was injured and then became more than friends. That is the short story, shorter!

AVR just updated for me today, it seems they have received my husbands ds230 package and they will review it. wow! How far we have all come! And how far we are all willing to go! Stay healthy and I wish you all the best!

This is so therapeutic. This is one of my biggest worries. My husband is a footballer (soccer) and I don't know how it will be when he gets here. I don't even know how it works here so I feel so helpless. I think he'll just have to start over in another profession.

Hmmm... Is there a way to get on the US team? Maybe a teaching certificate and then becoming a coach? But that seems such a waste of professional talent. Are there any local/regional leagues?

...just to let you all know i have good news of myself also...i was able to move up my parent's interview from May 21st@8:30am to May 4th@7am...praise god!...now i'm officially in the 1st week batch & not 3rd week yay!

I was thinking of going the coach route too but I think he can play maybe 1 or 2 more years and he loves the game so much that I really want to encourage it. I need to research the "lay of the land" more when it comes to football.

I don't plan on being at the interview. For Lagos, the petitioner can't attend anyway. I pray that all goes well. Lagos is SUCH a difficult place and I'm trying not to stress!

Yes, I will be in Egypt with my husband from May 26 through August 2. Sandra and Ahmed got an early June interview date, so things are looking up for a June interview date.

Im glad to see they finally entered in your case, no doubt you will be there for the interview. Im booking tickets now for June 7, will arrive on the 8th next morning interview then off to Hughada for all inclusive resort of much needed vacation. Then we will fly to Alexandria to spend the rest of my time with my other family there. Maybe we will have the same interview date its very possible.

hello everyone ..... ok here i am joining the april nvc thread heeh, im sweating bullets, so bare with me all, anxiety is high, hehe i want to say congrats to all for making it this far and congrats to all whos completed thier case and who have interviews i have had several rfes sorry i havent updated the timeline just stressed at the rfes,but nvc recieved the last response on april 27th according to avr,and i knowwww this time i got it right, thank god but now im at the point of signing in evvery hour hopeing to get a login failed, im at the point of calling the avr at nvc 5 times a day going dear god please say something great i cannot tell ya how many of the gray hairs i have made this journey heheh,, my plane tickets got me going back to egypt may 12th im prayinggggg for a case complete by then,, so what does everyone think my odds are on this one, i dont mean to whine , ive been on this journey since 2008 had to stop for many reasons medically and plus getting ripped off by a lawyewr but now here i am the show down heheh,,,,,anyways my best to you allll and take care
