Just for fun (killing time)

What's the first thing you & your SO plan to do when they arrive to US (minus the kinky stuff )

For me, hubby misses Thai food so much (his favorite) that I am taking him straigh to a Thai restaurant so he can have his Tum Yum that he has been craving for a year now. After that, we will stop by Jack in the Box so he can have his favorite Milk Shake which he too has been craving for awhile (too bad they don't have the Chipotle sandwich anymore which he too loves).

But before all that happens, we may have trouble getting out the airport since it's the first time he will hold Gisele & see her in real life, there might be tears. Yes my hubby is knows to shed a tear to two at special moments (it's so cute).

For us, I have no idea. I'm kicking around the idea of flying out of Dallas instead of my hometown. No matter what, I'll have a layover there anyway. So if I did leave from Dallas, then I'd take Husby around Dallas for a day or two before heading back home. I'm not sure, though. We'll be in the air for 23ish hours, plus the time for layovers. I don't know if either of us will be up for it.

I'm excited about introducing him to different cuisines. He's only ever had Thai food, pizza, and Western-style breakfast (eggs, big slice of ham, and toast). I want to take him to Yellowstone in the spring and White Sands and the Grand Canyon some other time. He's the nature type, so I hope he'll like it. Oh! And I want to take him to see snow. Maybe we'll do the Dallas trip in the winter.

What do you guys think are fun places or very "American" places to visit?

Awwww! I wanna be there for that.

For us, I have no idea. I'm kicking around the idea of flying out of Dallas instead of my hometown. No matter what, I'll have a layover there anyway. So if I did leave from Dallas, then I'd take Husby around Dallas for a day or two before heading back home. I'm not sure, though. We'll be in the air for 23ish hours, plus the time for layovers. I don't know if either of us will be up for it.

Sounds like you are going to show him a couple of fun places already. Will have to think to suggest other places. So hubby has never been to US?

I know I really want to go to Vermont for the Fall Foliage (I love fall) around Sep/Oct.
