LOL ... yea just like USPS 'First Class'. She's gonna have to spend some $$$ to get you anything within a week. If it's copies, tell her to scan it and email it to you. Although, he has also just packages regular mail and I've had them within 10 days. Must be Colorado ... ;)

the reason she sent it all snail mail is because she's unable to work out how to use a scanner apparently...

My mum sent me copies of everything for the AOS via "Priority" Mail from Colorado. I received it all on Tuesday this week... meaning that priority mail takes ~3weeks from USA to AUS... pretty #######

When Husby was in Australia, I sent him his birthday present and card about a month early. All the other letters and packages had taken about that long to get to him. Of course.... For this one, it arrived about 10 days later and completely ruined my act of "I'm so busy that I may have forgotten your birthday" I was setting up.

AVR says 'the NVC has completed processing of your case ...' ... all of a sudden, his voice was turning me on

yeah it actually is pretty damn ridiculous. when my wife sends me a fedex package from india, it only takes 2, maybe 3 biz days tops. and they only charge her 950 Rupees or so, which is like 20 bucks. when i have to send the same fedex package from here, it like f******n 80 US dollars AND it takes like 3-4 days to get there. it really is totally messed up. :bonk:

Ok folks, I think it's safe to take me off the waiting for SIF/CC list and put me on the waiting for interview email list.

Yes, that's right! After all the stress and heartbreaks and sleepless nights and dreams of a possible RFE, my day has finally arrived...Thank you Almighty!

I followed you guys' advice and went home, made my self some good food, ate it watching Final Destination2 and then Untraceable(both awesome movies btw) and then was about to turn in when I remembered that the payment portal updates at 10:30pm and so I decided to check at 11:30 and there it was... That sweet little message in red saying my case was not eligible for further processing at NVC and ... who cares! It's done, over with. I'm so glad I'm in time for a June interview.

Thank you to all of you at VJ who are my second family now for all the help, support, advice and courage you have provided me all along. Could never have done it without ya'll.

Now, where do I go to party? hmmm...

Glad to know it's not just me. Husby overnighted his DS-230 and PCCs to me via DHL for 20ish dollars. I sent him our evidence via regular USPS (taking 2 1/2 weeks to get there) and it was around $80.

I'm so very happy we have VJ to share all of our little frustrations and joys.

Thanks Bears! She's actually not convinced yet. The whole process has made her a little pessimistic. She refuses to believe it until she hears the AVR change, which it hasnt yet. And here I am, all excited and hyper, and she's asking me "what the hell's wrong with you?". I so love her... I just wish she was on VJ too, that way she woulda known...
