Y'know..... Eff NVC.

Bangkok scheduling simply does not take this long. You see K1s zipping by all over the place, but here's us and our CR1 being forgotten about. #######! K1s with their immense potential for abuse/fraud. Now, fraud can happen anywhere and Bangkok is generally not a high fraud embassy. But at the same time, I've heard a 7 year old girl answer "To marry a white man and move to America" for what she wanted to do when she grew up. What?!

We did CR1. We got married. Husby is leaving a great legal practice with a pretty much guaranteed future as a judge (read: If he stays and keeps working there for another 10 years, he'll be rolling in it) to come and do who knows what here with me and my son because he loves us. Where is the risk of fraud in that? He could be sitting cushy for the 10 years all the way up until he makes judge and then be quite well off from there. There's no monetary incentive to come here. There's no fraud, nothing sketchy. It's almost like he's losing by coming here. If anything, Thai immigration has more cause to suspect me of overstaying the 30-day VWP or jumping my 3-month tourist visa or 6-month resident visa. Especially with his career and my language skills, we'd be able to make a life instead of a giant vacation.

And yet, here we are lagging behind. For what?! For someone to look at the pictures submitted with the I-130 or the pretty colors and design on the marriage certificate? Take the pictures! Heck, take the MC! Just hand over an interview date and a "Congratulations, sir, your visa has been approved." We promise to follow the rules. Argh!

Okay... I feel a little better. Julissa, hon, I think you and I are going to get interviews assigned on the same day. Tomorrow. But I'm not calling again until Friday night. The girl I talked to was so rude! Don't employers usually conduct a personality test/screening? Jeez!

I am yet to reach to NVC process. But one question I have is about SIGN IN FAILS AT NVC.

When we pay online payment, that happends only once. How can we log in again to the payment portal. Do they ask us to create user id and password (an account) at the time of first time payment ?

Since, I am just not aware how one can, log in to NVC's payment poartal to cheak whether he/she can log in back or not ?

NO

When you are in NVC stage they will mail you the fee of the affidavit of support and they will give you an invoice number...with that you go the the payment portal web https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx that is written in the bill you write down your case number and the invoice number that will be like your password..this is the page that you paid both fee US$70 and 400 ..and normally after sending the last package to NVC if you try to log in and there is a red sign that says SIGN IN FAILED that means that your cases is almost complete...try to print or make copy of the bills because after sign in failed there is no way to obtain the bills in case you want to take it to the interview

Thanks that clears up doubts. One more question, Can petitioner pay IV FEE and choose Petitioner while paying through online fee payment portal sign in page. ? DOES it make a difference if selection is petitioner or principle applicant ?
