Great info! You sure have done your research. So you mentioned about proving that you have seen each other in the past year, well what happens when hubby & I havent seen each other in a year due to my pregnancy, our daughter being born almost 3mo early, etc. How will they interpet that? Should we be worried or?

I'll try on Friday, Julissa. I really want to be surprised by the e-mail this week. If not, then it'll be each night starting May 10th. What about you? Is the embassy still backlogged?

Do you guys know? If I want to switch sponsors, can I still do that? I'll need the new I-864 and their tax returns. What else? Would the old sponsors need to sign a letter retracting their sponsorship?

Medical reasons should suffice, are you going to interview? And you'll have chat records; I would add any correspondence between you and parents-in-law, exchanging pics of the baby, etc.

Medical reasons are recognized - My senator's office said that the only reasons to expedite a case were medical and military (they have no love for love).

My husband received the check with the money of the taxes and its with both of our names..I believe that its good right?? I told him to make copy so I can add it to the evidence..he is like WHY YOU WANT EVERYTHING NOW TO GO TO YOUR EVIDENCE BOX...HEHEHE.

Just received a snail mail from NVC dated March, 1st. Saying they received my documents from USCIS and asking about the I-864 and DS230.

God! Imagine if I didn't have any of you??? I'd be still stuck in NVC.

Yes, we got plenty of chat, phone & email records. Not too much correspondence with the in-laws as I dont speak their language but I did sent them a greeting card. Also emailed over 4 thousand pictures & mailed about 100+.

In our case the Medical reason did not expedite the case. When Gisele was in the NICU unit, I had a Dr write a letter that I submitted with the I130 paperwork & they only processed our paperwork couple days short of 5mo. I really doubt that letter was forworded to NVC & if it was they simply ignored it (heartless ppl ) But yet, Gisele's health is good (THANK GOD!!!!) she was just born early (well she did have some complications but she is good now, THANK GOD!!!!) I think the only way they will expedite it for Medical reasons is if someone has a terminal disease or just about dying.
