Be warned though, it's a looong article.

Also, the tone is definitely unfavorable to international marriages so bring your thick skin.

But I read it for the same reason I could occasionally be caught thumbing through a Cosmo "know thy enemy" (joke).

Okay, so which Barcoded cover sheet should be sent with the DS230?

Option #1) The one from the online payment portal, which can be printed after the IV fee bill is PAID.

Option #2) The one from the NVC email titled "Instruction Packet Agent".

Option #3) BOTH!

BOTH the barcoded cover sheets say "Send this cover sheet along with DS230". So send BOTH?

I sent both. The cover sheet first. The Instruction Packet Agent too because it came after the IV was paid, so maybe its proof, and plus it instructs you to return it with your documents. They have different addresses on them as well, the one on the Instruction Packet Agent with 31 Rochester is the correct address, I called and she said this is their new address. Isn't it exciting!!

WHAT THE HELL? Why is my stuff languishing at NVC since April 15? And why was there a need for them to contact the Embassy? Does this not happen AFTER your CC? Bloody hell ...

My husband received the check with the money of the taxes and its with both of our names..I believe that its good right?? I told him to make copy so I can add it to the evidence..he is like WHY YOU WANT EVERYTHING NOW TO GO TO YOUR EVIDENCE BOX...HEHEHE.

Great Juls. We also filed 'married filling jointly' but since my SSN is in my maiden name, they didn't refund the total they should. Hubby will call IRS and see what can be done.

Still got some money back, which is nice. I'll also add the return to my evidence box.

same here I dont have my married name..you dont take married name here in dominican republic you can add it to both of your last names CRAZY
