That's their usual #######. If you call and speak to another operator, you'll get the 6-8 weeks. Speak with another and it'll be "Call back next week."

It's coming soon, hon. Don't give up. I think before it was 8-11 business days from receipt of your last package. So 10 days is right in there.

Interview dates for June will be scheduled during 26-30 April for some consulates.

The rest will be scheduled during 10-14 May.

To qualify for the next round of scheduling for June, you'd have to have a CC by May 7, 2010.

Which means your last package must be at NVC by April 26th, tentatively, barring any RFEs.

Congrats to everyone with SIF's and CC'd and interviews. I'm so jealous! I finally sent everything in yesterday and it should arrive Monday. I really hope there are no RFE's, I went through everything VERY closely! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for my case to be closed soon! Have a great weekend everyone!

Pardon me but, what's an AVR and what's the importance of it in the NVC process.......please explain ...

I see your just starting out, Good Luck to you! May it be a fast/smooth journey through USCIS & NVC & then on to the interview. Hubby is at Mumbai too.

AVR is Automatic Voice Responce system 603.334.0700 save it as a favorite # in your phone, you will use it often when at NVC stage.

Ok, I was reading through the previous posts that I missed and I saw that someone got an RFE for listing all the places the beneficiary had lived since birth. Did anyone NOT get an RFE for doing the same thing? As you can guess, my hubby listed his places from birth (same as since age 16) and I'm ready to SHOOT myself panicking about the possible RFE! This doesn't seem like its going to be a good weekend! ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

woke up this morning thinking that the AVR would be updated, but no luck. today is day 5 so i know it takes 8 to 11 days but does anybody know how they update the AVR system. is it done at the end of the night or is it updated all day long.

I listed mine from birth as well. No issues.

AVR is updated at 3PM, 10PM and once in the morning.
