The AVR was updated. Yay!

Well that is good to know that they update the AVR when it is sent to the consulate (and it wasnt only me). i think people just stop calling once they get case complete. If they update every case this way, you can track your package to the consulate.

i did that same thing and i got a case complete with no problems. the document asks for the dates that you lived there. if you lived there since birth you just put the birth year to present.

maybe whoever you talked to on the phone was too clueless to realize that. or maybe they misunderstood you.

did you get an actual RFE? if not you should be fine.

Actually, if you did not get an RFE for that, you're lucky! A lot of March/April NVCers got this RFE and had to re-do the DS230 to show the starting time when the beneficiary was 16 years old since that is exactly what the question asks for. Seems pretty picky (and stupid) to me, but it has held up a lot of people and is a common RFE.

And a good morning to everyone staggering into work.

Nothing constructive to add to the conversation at this point.

Although, statistically speaking, I think myself and someone else are supposed to get SIF either today or Monday.

Of course that's provided we don't get RooFiEd (I know RFE doesn't stand for that, but I always read it as such, since the two effects seem to have much in common).

Anyway, good luck to all those expecting progress today.
