That's what I was thinking too,just re-do the DS230 and get a new BC.

All I could find about DC's is about previous spouses so I don't think I need to have that.

What does the AVR Response "The NVC recieved your documents on Apil 16,2010, please allow 6-8 weeks from this date for the NVC to review this documentation and notify of you of the outcome of the review." I assume that means they have recieved the I-864 and DS-230? I hope it does, since EP has been all weird and stuff.(Those doing EP know what I mean lol) Also another reason I ask, is because I got an e-mail about the next steps, and it was to e-mail them my DS-230, But I had e-mailed that in already and what not. Lol I cant wait to be done with them!!

(I know there was an AVR response thread going on somewhere here in the forums, but I coudlnt find it.)

I get the same message you got when you called NVC about your case. Basically we just have to sit tight and wait for CC. You can only email DS-230 if you are doing electronic processing. If you already sent it by mail than don't worry about it.

Well as you can see I am a bit slow because I didn't noticed you were doing EP even though it is in your signature (D'oh) haha :rofl:

Btw, I was getting the same message about sending my DS-230 package even though it was already sent 2 or 3 days ago. I believe it takes them some time to update it.

Hi guys.

Sorry for being so quiet for a while but alot of stuff has been going on.

I now have some questions about it...

My mom just passed away and I'm trying to figure out what I need to do/update.

So far I got,

- Need a new BC which shows my mom as deceased.

- A new/updated DS-230 showing the same.

Is there anything else I need to update or get or do?

I really appreciate your help friends,it's hard to focus on all the details of immigration right now.

If you're redoing the DS-230, unless it's a previous spouse I actually don't think you need proof of a parent being deceased. Just the date filled in.
