NVC April 2010 Edition!

Im kinda pissed because my case is alreasy completed at NVC but they havent forward it to embassy. does it takes a week for them to send it out?

Or AVR still says the same thing, and the embassy hasn't gotten our package either. I'm trying to call them again today. I want that April interview!

I can't take this anymore.... Soooo irritated since morning... It was extremely hard today not to take it all out on hubby. Had to tell myself couple of times "you're mad at NVC not at him"..... Ugh......

There's noway of tracking your package unless you call the NVC operator and they tell you specifically that your package was shipped on a certain day. I've try tracking my package only to find out that it's someone else. I've given up on tracking it altogether.

The way to track your package from the NVC to the embassy is to take the date of the interview email and back date a couple of days for the start of the tracking. Then you should see your package leaving the NVC. They don't send out the packets until the embassy tells them the next available dates for scheduling.

The date for my email was 12/29/09 so I back tracked the date to 12/25/09 and I saw where our package left on 12/28/09 and wasn't delivered to the embassy until 01/03/10 because the embassy in Cairo is closed on Fridays and Saturdays...

Hi all... I am still here, did not post for some time.

UPDATE from me - "The Last Document Standing".... PCC from regional passport office.

Put a inquiry for this... the general verification not received by the passport office from local police head quarters.

(this is the one that will be initiated when you ask for PCC from passport office and submit your passport).

Still praying.... We have twisted some arms there (a call by IGP to RPO head).

I hope to give you update soon...

Aneudy, have you talked to an operator about the interview yet?

It's taking that long because your consulate is backlogged right?

I see. According to the AVR this morning, my package is still at NVC! I'm not sure how accurate the AVR is since i did not confirm it with a live operator. My case was completed on 3/12 and we got the interview letter on 3/25. Between the two date there are appoximately 10 package left NVC to USEM @Phnom Penh. I would assume if one of those package is mine, wouldn't the AVR update to (per WIKI):

Case Forwarded to Embassy:

"...The NVC has completed the case and forwarded it to the Embassy or Consulate in..."
