no login fail yet for today. i got until 5pm to hope for one!!!!

my man got his medical yesterday. all seemed well. they will send him his package on tuesday if he passes!!! yeah!

Looks like we are on the same timeline the only difference is the avr my says rec'd on the 9th, but whats crazy is that we both mailed them on the same day the 6th. What do the experts think about this? I just need to hear something to make me get through the weekend.

Not an expert by any means.

Same thing happened to Kevin and me. We sent our DS-230s on the same day. They were received on the same day. Kevin's were input into the AVR a day before mine. He got SIF and CC a day before me.

So.... to get you through the weekend... it's coming! Very soon! Enjoy your weekend and begin the SIF Watch again on Monday.

Thank you, Sachi. You're gonna rock your interview! I can't wait to hear all about how the CO was blown away by the meticulous organization of your overwhelming evidence that you have a bonafide relationship.

Thea, you're right. Now there is time to make sure the evidence is completely right.

Vanessa, yay! Monday they receive the AOS. I'm calling SIF for you on the 29th with CC on the 30th!

I'll take it!

Hey everyone - I'm back...hubby ordered the divorce certificate that he should have ordered 3 months ago when I first told him about it. He should have it by Monday...then he'll send it to New Hampshire - question is this: Are we going to be able to send it to NVC overnight or is it going to have to be delivered via steam-ship due to no flights because of that damned volcano...?

Yep - it figures, just when we need to get a document sent via airmail as quickly as possible - mother nature intervenes to make our journey that much more difficult - I swear, when is ANYTHING in this process going to go our way?

With our luck, it would be sent on a ship, which would in turn hit an iceberg...

Hi Guys,

I send AOS package on 4/9/10 and nvc received on 4/12/10 however AVR still shows no record of receiving the package. What is the average time for nvc to receive the document? I talked to NVC operator yesterday and they did not receive it yet? Any suggestion please advise? Sould i start getting worry?

Yes ask to speak to one and when one gets on the line, let them know that your pictures wore with your paperwork and the back even had your case written on them.

See, operators do nothing other then answer phones & read their damp notecards on what to tell you.

Hubby's J1 Visa was sent with his I130 packet but was not included with the DS230 (long story, attorney to blame). So I called and didnt even bother talking to the operator other then giving her case #, Name's & DOB and asked for the supervisor right away. I explained the situation & she said 10-15 days to review, that was March 30th & I SIF Apr 5th.

Never hurts to try. Maybe the pictures are not "lost". Good luck to you! But while you are doing all that, sent the pictures anyways just in case. Do not wait for the official email from them. Just attach the cover sheet you have from you DS230 packet you sent the first time.

Hubby called NVC and He learned that interview date slots for May for the Philippines is already full so we would get our interview date by the 2nd week of May an will be in June slot. I'm not sure if this applies to any other countries . I dont want to feel bad about this, I just want to think that we have more time to gather documents for the interview. And do more activities with family while I'm still here .
