Hello everyone,

My RFE response with the district police certificate was delivered this morning and I am back in the race for a June interview. Hope it doesnt take as long to get SIF and case complete from here. Anyone have an idea how long its taking them to get to the mail nowadays?

Glad to hear that the PCC has been sent to NVC. Hopeing for your SIF soon. good.gif

01-22-2010 : Became U.S. citizen (Sent request to upgrade petition from F2A to IR-1 catagory)

02-17-2010 : Case finally upgraded to IR-1

03-20-2010 : Case complete

04-12-2010 : Receiced interview notice.

Just as a FYI:

For the federal tax info on the I-864:

If you use a 1040, put down the figure on line 22.

If you use a 1040A, put down the figure on line 15.

If you use a 1040EZ, put down the figure on line 4.

If you used tax transcripts, total income can be found on page 2.

If you are using tax transcripts and used a 1040EZ, search for the figure that says ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME.

Hopefully, someone will find this information useful in the future.

Sachi - the husband and I had discussions about the 2009 taxes. We didn't include it because we only did what was requested. Fingers crossed that because we weren't RFE'd for it last week, we will be OK. Either way I think I will need them for the interview.

I was RFE'd for this but I think if I had included a letter saying I was filing an extension, I wouldn't have.

I have been trying to get a PCC from Hyderabad. I got one from the District Police Office but the one from the Passport office it taking forever. Still waiting for it.....

I am trying to get PCC from Amritsar. The guy who did the verification put wrong name on the police verification back to RPO.

Just checking in...hello everyone! :D

I mailed in my AOS on Tuesday...they got it today (Friday @ 11am). Yesterday, I got a "Instruction Packet Agent" letter via email, which also has to be sent in with my husbands DS230 packet. I called NVC and asked them about the 31 or 32 Rochester address, they said the 31 is there new address and I should send mail to them there. The 32 is okay, they just fwd it next door. She said it was okay for my husband to mail in the DS230 pkt from Egypt, and we don't need to mail in any family pictures. I asked about attending the interview with him in Egypt, she said it is sometimes "suggested" that the petitioner attend, so I'm thinking its good that I will be with my husband this summer. I also received my husbands ITIN from the IRS, it took approximately 4 weeks. Hopefully our return will soon follow. :luv:
