Uggg, I can't believe I'm on hold for the NVC again... I thought we were past this. oh well, I hope this is the last time. ...

So, I talked to a very nice gentleman, he told me that they have not yet sent out our package, but that it will be going out "very soon" and re-interated that it would be mailed "shortly".

Alright. Whatever that means, at least it's better than 6-8 weeks... haha, which would be after the interview...

I'm still debating between buying the ticket to Chicago now or later. Prices will definitely shoot up with the onset of summer.

Mumbai let's you pick up the visa on the day of the interview itself. If not, they DHL it within 2-3 days. What do you folks think? With a May 12 interview, should I be okay for an estimated departure on the 17th or should I play it safe with the 19th?

Mumbai let's you pick up the visa on the day of the interview itself. If not, they DHL it within 2-3 days. What do you folks think? With a May 12 interview, should I be okay for an estimated departure on the 17th or should I play it safe with the 19th?

I hear that the best time to buy tickets, cheap, is about 5-7 days before the flight or 2-3 months ahead. Tips anyone since we all will be buying tickets soon?

I did yesterday and they said that they have received a package (they said they don't know the contents) which is being reviewed since the 20th....I told her that the AVR still gives me the false RFE, and I call bacause in case they issue a real one, I'm not going to tell the difference.... She said she would refer my case to supervisor and I need to give them 10-15 business days.....

Good morning Sachi. I am tracking my package to Manila. Am I going to use the date my case was completed. Sif - 3.30.10; case complete 3.31.10. For tracking EXP 31 Mar 2010A. Is this correct? I found one going to Manila.

Just for the two of us, it cost approximately $3K. So buy now if it's cheap!!

5-7 days is cutting it too close. You're risking of NO seat and your whole trip is in jeopardy! I'm flying korean airline and i've monitor the price on their website daily and it's fluctuate as much as $400 in one day for round trip!

There's noway of tracking your package unless you call the NVC operator and they tell you specifically that your package was shipped on a certain day. I've try tracking my package only to find out that it's someone else. I've given up on tracking it altogether.
