Well, I held my tongue with hubby, since there's really no going into the past and making him get a copy of his divorce decree that looks real...there's nothing that can be done now, except to just get NVC what they want.

One fortunate thing is that his mum works for the courts, and thinks she can get a copy faster than if he just ordered it by phone. She's going to find out if they can stamp it with a color other than black, because the one we sent in looks exactly like it's been photo copied.

The thing is, I sent in a copy of the divorce decree with the original package, received the one from hubby via mail which I sent in with the passport photos that I forgot to send in, hoping & praying that it would work. I'm still holding out the slightest bit of hope that they'll see the one that came with the passport photos and go ahead...not much hope, but a tiny bit.

Hubby thinks it'll be a couple of days before he gets a new copy, and he'll overnight it to NVC from England.

I'm much calmer now - took a few hours break from VJ, cause I just wasn't fit company.

Want to tell everyone congratulations on all of the interview dates - I am so looking forward to next month when we can do the CC dance!!

:)

Well good. at least there's a path forward and you can fix it. looks like you'll have things wrapped up within a week's time then. at least they didnt find anythign else wrong and so if its this 1 thing, you're kinda on your way. any mention as to if they accepted your aos package?

Congratulations to all the Pinay who got their interview and other VJ who got their interviews as well most especially to Sachinky who unselfishly shared knowledge and comfort to our pains for waiting and RFE.

Our ordeal to USCIS and NVC is over. Our patience and love was tested for our beloved. We are now heading to a new chapter in our tiny lives as we leave our families, friends, culture, heritage and country in pursuit for a lifetime journey with our love ones. We feel the excitement of being with our partners and live in a foreign country where we think it offers a good and comfortable life.

For me there is pain as I leave many things behind especially my family and 2 boys aged 20 and 21. I will miss my dog who is already part of our family. She gave us joy and put a smile in our faces. I know my heart will be shattered into pieces as I bid goodbye to my love ones. I will cry a lot alone in my journey. I know also, when my husband welcomes me with a big hug and kiss, I am a whole person again ready to face new life and share with him the rest of the journey. I believe that LIFE IS MATTER OF CHOICE AND NOT BY CHANCE. I also believe that there for every sunshine is a message from God and every sun dawn is a signature from God. God Bless to all.

Good morning, everyone.

Looking through a photo album yesterday, I discovered two more cards Husby had sent me back in 2007. Should I send them to him? He's already going to have 18 pounds of paper to show them.

Sachinky, Husby said the same thing. "How am I going to carry all that?!"

Good Morning!

:ot2:

I will be happier when you get your interview. My husband is happier than me when I informed him about my interview because I still have so many things to do and attend. It pains me a lot to leave my 2 boys behind. I thought of sending them to the U.S. thru J1 visa for 4 months. So when they come back, they will not miss me more than I am going to leave them now.

You will be next to get an interview. I am congratulating you now. Smile.

Good morning everyone!

Hi Rian. Congrats.

Good luck to your interview.

I just spoke to a friend who had her medical. Try to be healthy on that day. She was referred to several specialists. The additonal tests were all normal. Each test that is done is additional payment. She paid P30K.

Christi,

If the stamp can only be done in black, can the certifying official sign in blue under the stamp? Or maybe initial each page? Something small and simple to show it's an original.
