Hello VJers,

I got CC on the 9th of April and confirmed with an NVC operator, I called earlier today and the lady told me to sit tight and I should hear something by end of week. I just opened my e-mail and I find 2 emails, 1 for each parent with a checklist with this on it.

______FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:__________________________________________

The NVC has received the information you have submitted in reference to

the Affidavit of Support. Please be advised that you, as the Petitioner, do

not appear to meet the minimum income requirement according to the

current poverty guidelines to sponsor the intending immigrant(s) for this

petition. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this

requirement at the time of your interview. In order to avoid delays, you

may wish to submit an additional Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) for a

Joint Sponsor to the National Visa Center to assist in sponsoring the

intending immigrants. To view the current poverty guidelines, visit

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-864P.pdf.

If you decide to use a Joint Sponsor to assist in sponsoring the intending

immigrants, please note that you the sponsor may not use Form I-864EZ

and will also need to submit Form I-864.

Is it possible to get and RFE after CC? Will we still get and interview and just submit additional information there? Any ideas what I can do.

Thanks everyone... I just had to step out to call 911 again... the fire had started back up with a vengenace... here is me with my tiny little water hose with no nozzle... just the water comming out of the hose... and then 3 fire trucks pull back up and they jump out with the enormous hose and blast the fire back into the woods.... I was like  dont mind me I was just watering my lawn... lol...

Is it a bad thing when the 911 operator can discribe your house and asks how the kids are doing??? I might invite her over for some tea...

Does the email below really mean that my DS3032 is accepted? I'm asking cuz I just called and the operator said that DS3032 is not yet processed. We recieved this email on april 8th, 3 days after we had sent the email, so I'm guessing its not the auto-generated reply.

"Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The NVC has received the Agent of Choice selection. The Immigrant Visa Application (DS 230) processing fee bill will be sent to the designated agent on the case. The fee must be paid according to the instructions before the instruction packet will be sent."

If it's indeed accepted, What would take them SO LONG to generate a stupid IV Fee Bill!!! mad.gifmad.gif
