I just got my SIF today... I am going to call the NVC and see if they can somehow put me in MAY interview.... its Chennai consulate too.

Chintu -- No point in contacting NVC regarding your interview date until your case complete is confirmed by the AVR/operator.

SIF is an unofficial indicator.

I hope you are able to squeeze into May, but be prepared for a June date since you just missed the cut-off.
