 I would do so much damage @ NVC & get fired within hours but at least we would have our interview dates and/or SIF. Just give access but then don't deport me US

haha you go Tatyana! actually is there any benefit at this stage to try to get senators/congressmen involved? My guess is that by the time those bozos actually do something, we'll all have our dates!

You know I did get them involved in my case and all I got was info where exactly my process is but that's about it, it didn't speed up the case. But anyway, I say go for it, you never know & it does not hurt to try.

Ok, here's my update.

My wife went and got her PCC today(yeah, finally). This is what it says:

This is to certify that "SHE" married to "ME" lives at "her address" and has passport number "NO." has no adverse records politically, criminally or otherwise during her stay at this address in "HER TOWN" from 11/16/2007 till date.

Now its the date part that has me worried. Dose the NVC expect a PCC from the time she turned 16? Cuz I think my wife's local Police is trying to indicate that they only have records from 2007 and that she doesnt have a negative records since then. Will this PCC work or should I have her go back and have them rewrite it to say the same since she turns 16?

This is turning out to be a nightmare.

Oh, and they messed up one number on her address, I am hoping that will fly at the NVC...

How about the PCC from regional passport office?

Do you have it or applying it soon?

Ya, as mentioned in my previous post, SJ you'll definitely need a PCC from the regional passport office. they will also give you a similar letter (no adverse events blah blah blah...). it should only take a week to get. do make sure you write on top of the application (EVEN THOUGH THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU TO DO SO!), that the PCC is for a visa to the US. The idiots in the bangalore RPO didnt tell my wife this when she applied for the PCC and then they put a hold on her passport. when she went in to find out why, it was b/c she hadnt written "PCC for us visa" on the top of the f*****n application - even though it doesnt say anywhere in the instrcutions and nobody bothered telling her. then they had the audacity to yell at her for not filling the form out properly (no ther's no place on the PCC application that asks you why you need the PCC)!!!!!

most RPOs (the bangalore one did) should have a tracking feature for tracking the progress on your passport or PCC. do monitor this after your wife hands in her appliaction.

whoa!!! Deep, where are you applying from? 2 months?!?!?! that's ridiculous! most RPOs should have an online tracking feature (my wife got hers from the bangalore RPO and was able to track it online). Your spouse should go to the RPO and find out what the problem is, if they can...

No man, PCC from RPO (Amritsar) was applied on March 8th. She has the receipt from them when she submitted the passport with application.

It is hell of ride that she has to go through. I am sorry for her But she is getting help from the families but she has to be present there.

Our RPO has online tracking but that is for passport application not for the additional stuff (may be I am wrong).

Can you please provide some information? Now, we know that general inquiry is done by the police and they have sent it to the passport office. But since last friday, it is not received by RPO.

You can understand it is very frustrating... :bonk:

It's already with the NVC. Stupid people should have processed my case without the one from the district police office since her passport was less than 6 months old when they got the DS-230 and the RPO PCC. That's what I'm still pissed about. I woulda had an interview date a looooooooooong f'ing time ago.

07/05/2012 - Packet delivered
