Morning all!!! Like Alicia said, all of us that are waiting hope we get our Interview Letters and/or SIF & whatever else you guys are working on to get your paperwork completed & mailed in to NVC!!!!!

Come NVC, we are ready!!!! Our emails are open & we will be hitting refresh all day!!!! Don't make us call you because we might not be nice anymore.

Tat, I'm also hitting refresh all day! I also put the volume in maximum to get the notice that I received a new email in my inbox. So if I'm not around I'll hear it.

SJ--It's fine. My PCC was dated from June 2009 since I was out of the country before then.

Don't worry about it. Send it into NVC ASAP!!!!

It sure is torture!!!! I really hope that if not all at least couple of us get interview letters this week as confimation that NVC has figured out what 2nd week of April is & indeed are scheduling this week since some operators wore confused.

Ok, here's my update.

My wife went and got her PCC today(yeah, finally). This is what it says:

This is to certify that "SHE" married to "ME" lives at "her address" and has passport number "NO." has no adverse records politically,criminally or otherwise during her stay at this address in "HER TOWN" from 11/16/2007 till date.

Now its the date part that has me worried. Dose the NVC expect a PCC from the time she turned 16? Cuz I think my wife's local Police is trying to indicate that they only have records from 2007 and that she doesnt have a negative records since then. Will this PCC work or should I have her go back and have them rewrite it to say the same since she turns 16?

This is turning out to be a nightmare.

Oh, and they messed up one number on her address, I am hoping that will fly at the NVC...

I think you're ok. No you dont have to get a PCC from every place since you were 16! here are the PCC rules - IF your wife's passport was issued less than 6 months ago, you only need PCC from the regional passport office (RPO). IF her passport is older than 6 months, then you need a PCC from the RPO AND the local police station where your wife lives. So max of only 2 places. If you already got one from the RPO, then you're ok with what you just got from the local police station.

Yup torture to the Nth degree!!! I made my daily AM call to NVC. My docs are in review. it would take "2-4 weeks" for the review process and if evetything is in order then they would get back to me with an interview date. she couldnt tell me which docs have been looked at - guess they dont have that level of detail in their files ?!?! If they need anytinng then they would send me an email...

I guess no news is good news, as they say. All i want is a freaking CC and SIF!!!!! The day did kinda just start, so hoping that EOD will yield some good news.

Yes I hate w/e too! NVC seriously needs to work w/e; or even just saturdays at the very most. Christi mentioned that they hired 150 more people - not sure that will be enough for the 1000s of applications they receive on a daily basis. how about 150 (or really more like 1500 more!)?!!

I would do so much damage @ NVC & get fired within hours but at least we would have our interview dates and/or SIF. Just give access but then don't deport me US
