Amen to that! I'm into music (guitar) and traveling, movies, going out and everything else. My wife loves to do all kinds of things too. We've been totally just consumed by this and are just existing till we get SIFs and our interview dates. what this makes you do is to stop living and just exist until you're rejoined and whole again. its a horrible process that can only hope to make us all stronger as people and in relationships. Best of luck to us all and I think the coming week will be our week - t is the New Year's time in the south Indian calender next week and will usher in good tidings for us all!

No doubt - everyone at work keeps asking me when Ian will be back & what's taking so long - I just reply that the harder you have to work for something, the more you appreciate it.

It's true - I even miss his snoring & stealing all of the blankets...

Yesterday was a long boring day- only thing.. and yes.. the ONLY THING that made me smile, was talking to my son in the am and the gorgeous pics of baby Gisele that Tat shared on the FB.

Reports from Schertz are that the turnout was better than ever. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The food was just like home. The kids running around with water guns were cute. And... the dancing was great.

So that's it for Sunday. Tomorrow begins the Week of Good News!

And... please keep Thailand in your prayers. 21 dead and 850 injured. Protests in Bangkok have been going on for a month now. Tourists are heading home. And all the while, there are hundreds of people trying to go to school and work, eat, make a living, and get medicals and go to visa interviews. Pray for the right resolution, whatever it may be. Without any more bloodshed.

urrrrgggggg USPS attempted to deliver my package to NVC on SUNDAY!!!

even if my husband selected "No Delivery on Saturdays" option... that mean they deliver on SUNDAY???

well...I believe they try to deliver at least 3 times...so hopefully NVC will get my package tomorrow morning...

There is never any 'linkup' with that checklist - it gripes my @ss, similar to piles.
