It's been taking 8-10 days for a case complete. Keep trying to sign in to the payment portal page. When you get an error message - The case you've tried to access is no longer available to ...etc. - you're done with NVC Good Luck!!

Is that 8-10 business days? Once my sign in fails will I get my husband's interview date?

If you look at my signature, it took 10 calendar days from the time they received my packets until I got a SIF. It's another waiting game when/if your approved at NVC (barring no RFE's). There are quite a few people here who have been waiting weeks for an interview date. My case was complete the 1st and still no interview date. NVC schedules interviews during the second week of each month for the following month. I don't think your packets will be reviewed in time to get a May interview, most likely be June.

I'm a little confused. I got my SIF, and the operator I spoke to confirmed my case was complete on the 8th, but today I got a checklist email requesting a police certificate, which was included with the original packet. Is this something I should just ignore considering the case is already complete?

Is there a way to get another one and have it available for the interview?

Wait until Monday and call to confirm your CC with the operator again and ask them. I'm thinking ignore it and just bring a new one to the interview.

Yeh, I'd say make the call too. Might even speak to a supervisor or at least get a yes or no answer about the checklist. I think Bears is right, make sure you have a fresh one to take to the interview with you

I used to have hobbies. Used to golf and fish. I used to work on my car and go do a little drag racing. I used to play the guitar and mess on the PS3. Now, since the NVC ...not so much

I have an odd one too - we got our checklist for the I-864 (RFE we knew was coming) and they've requested my PCC as well as being missing?? They're also saying signature must be original - think I'll tell him to use BLUE pen this time.

I sent that with my DS-230. #######??

did u call? that is ridiculous and may need a supervisor request.

We got the checklist yesterday and being Saturday over here I didn't bother reading it. If I had I could have called but now I have to wait until my Tuesday!! I will be calling though. I know our PCC's are numbered so I might call the AFP tomorrow and check to see if I can have another sent out (just in case).

:lol: the power of the NVC to consume our lives because those are some fun hobbies you have there. Mine are playing tennis and traveling. Travel is limited because of $$$$ and I have to blame the NVC for my lack of playing tennis.

Oh the joys of life BNVC - that is how I am going to refer to my life (or lack of one at the moment). I also suffer from immigration PTSD - this should be a recognised condition.
