Hello,

Man oh man, i got married in july to my wife in india and i am in chicago now. Our times dont match up so when we talk i have to stay up late and stuff and i came back from india with a FULL head of hair. I have lost 50% of my hair.... i dont know how to get it back, and plus the I130 app is stressing me out insanely.

Any Advice?

You are right. Stress may induce alopecia. Work your way to handle stress.

Rogaine is often seen on TV. That's an option. You might also want to see a specialist.

Try reading this:

You can always choose between gray hair and stroke. :hehe:

Single and unhappily married men could have greater stroke risk

If it's from stress, I'd recommend taking a multivitamin/mineral supplement. Selenium, zinc and saw palmetto are all suppose to be beneficial to hair growth. Mercury (which is in many fish) can contribute to hair loss. Beyond that, I'd try to reduce the stress to a more manageable level - through exercise....and try to get more sleep. :star:

Each of my gray hairs have a time and date stamp.

Going to the vitamin Shoppe to check out stress support. Hopefully that will help me out. AND folic acid.

Vitamin B Complex may help, too. That's what I used to take daily when I got my second job because it was a little stressful.

some changes in your diet can help. I found this interesting information about proteins:

"Protein - Hair is made up mostly of protein so a protein rich diet is necessary. But not if your main source of protein is a large steak. In fact, eating large quantities of meat can be counterproductive. A steak will increase testosterone levels, and this has been linked to hair loss. Eggs are an excellent source of protein, also add nuts, seeds, beans and fish. "

We can all make a difference. Please recycle

Go and see a dermatologist. It may be stress or it may be the onset of male pattern baldness. If you are in your 20s it could be that. Or it could be a combination. A dermatologist will tell you what is causing it. So you need info to begin with, then you can decide what you want to do about it.

Interesting, im allergic to fish. So i try and eat eggs, but sometimes, too many at once will end up causing a heart attack!
