John Boehner Was Awesome On Sunday Night.

 What an idiot, notice the two contrasting styles by both house leaders when giving their final speeches. Boehner acted like a madman, full of anger, uncivilised and showed little respect towards house members. Boehner was in effect reflecting the Tea Baggers behavior with their spitting and hurling racial abuse towards black congressmen, calling Frank a F****t and telling a Hispanic congressman "To go back to Mexico". Nancy Pelosi on the other hand gave her speech in a dignified manner, calm, took her speech onto a personal level, to the very heart about what this bill was about and what it meant for American families and people.

Boehner couldn't even do that, the red mist was descended on him a long time ago and not once throughout this whole debate did I hear him talk about what this whole bill was about, the personal lives of people who suffered under the malpractices of the insurance companies. Did he care about that? I don't think so, maybe he was too busy patting the wallet in his back pocket. Boehner kept going on about the majority of the American people didn't want this bill. In some regards this is true, however there are two crucial differences, one, the public said major changes had to be made but they think this bill didn't actually go far enough. Two, once the American people see the changes in effect then all the lies and propaganda spouted by the RWN will be exposed for what it is.

So your assuming that the American people arent smart enough to get it, they been duped by the big bad republican party. I disagree I give the American more credit and would argue that it is you that has been duped.

Great video!

WORD

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I believe Harry Reid (D-Nevada) said it best when he challenged Jim Bunning (R-Kentucky).

"Where was my friend from Kentucky when we had two wars that were unpaid for during the Bush administration?" he asked. Reid also mentioned the Bush administration tax cuts, which Democrats have said are unpaid for.

"We don't need lectures here on debt" from the GOP.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of the Democrats but the Republicans have been just as bad if not worse.

Yes, the Democrats will likely lose some seats when November rolls around but the Republicans are just going to do the same thing that they have always done as well...spending and yet cutting taxes which will only raise the deficit/debt. Don't believe me? Look at Iraq/Afghanistan. Then the American people are going to be left holding the bag...again. I actually find it quite amusing that people are so upset at the Democrats and think that the Republicans are going to do anything different. I can't wait until November just to see the look on people's faces when they realize they've been had by the Republicans.

That is where I am trying to find some logic in. The GOP refuses to acknowledge the unpaid debt during the Bush Admin. They question instead of actually doing. Sit there daydreaming that some fool will not pick these things up.

I'm trying to find the logic and line of reasoning with this ideology, and came out to the conclusion that they have none.

One is constitutional, one is not.

It really is that simple.

I highly disagree with the wars and the spending on them, but that is really what it comes down to and is quite the valid argument.

Stop asking yourself, "why is person X not covered" and start asking yourself, "Why does it cost so much and why do we 'need' health insurance to pay for it." - If you actually look into and study the industry, you'll realize that insurance really isn't the bad guy here.

Agreed. The insurance industry is a very small piece of the pie.

The logic is simple - you can't justify bad behavior by pointing to other examples of bad behavior.

The fact that someone (read: Bush) got away with murder doesn't make murder any more acceptable.
