Tokyo Embassy...Finding out what is up with packet 3.

I called the NVC and they said that they had forwarded our case on March 3rd. So we expected that we would've gotten our packet from the embassy already. However, it hasn't arrived. We haven't heard anything from the embassy yet.

I just called the embassy there and was charged 20 bucks for a 10 minute phone call to have them forward my message along to someone. They couldn't tell me anything directly. Is there an easier way to check with the embassy whether they got our case or not? Please let us know!!!

It's not normal for it to take this long right? The embassy should've gotten our case on about the 10th and then sent my fiancee her packet 3 right?

Any tips would be appreciated!

Hey Barry,

Your still within the "normal" timeframe, I would not worry about anything yet. Give it another week.

We (Vietnam) received NOA2 on 9/16 and NVC sent packet on 9/22, packet 3 was received by my fiancee on 10/19.

Your right about in livne with that - hope she receives it soon and Best Wishes!
