Do you need AP in this case?

Take this scenario for example:

My Fiancee enters the US on K1, we get married within the 90 days required by law and then begin the AoS process here in the US. We then depart for an international destination with plans to return in 30 days and use her B2 visa to enter the country. What will this do to our AoS? I'd hate to have to pay for AP (it's somewhat expensive) when she already has a valid B2 as well as K1.

What does everyone think?

You can do that and get back into the country but the K1 is gone and you will have to start all over. You adjust status based on STILL being on the k1 and need the I 94 from the K1. However the AP is free when you file at the same time as AOS

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

AP is free when filed with AOS concurrently.

This is wonderful news. Do I put all the petitions in one envelope and only pay for the AOS?

Yes. The I-485, the I-765, and the I-131, and all of their supporting documentation all go in one envelope, with a check for $1010US, which covers all three applications.

DON'T PANIC

jiaozi is fine, even steamed - doesn't matter the filling.

I do about 5 batches, steamed, a year, with venison, give away to homeless shelter during a 'feed the homeless' event.

It's usually 300 to 500 each time, takes me about one day from 'nothing' to 'packed to go'.

I was teasing, though - no need to send me anything ;)

I made special 'chinese kitchen' outside, next to the pump house, with those 'special burners' to get the high heat. sounds like an aircraft engine, each time.

What might be better, later this year, is to have a get together, somewhere with our wives, and make a day or two of cooking and drinking. I won't volunteer the farmhouse in Houston - it's a man-cave, not safe for visitors ;)

you need to cut your kitchen out of the clay cliff behind the house, right next to the cow stabel for it to be a real chinese kitchen.
