NOA 2 lost in the mail

Hi everyone,

The case for my mom has been approved as an online system says. The notice of approval was mailed 12 days ago and I still have not received it.

I know I need to register email addresses and send some forms to the NVC, as well as pay the processing fees. But I'm not sure what to do now if my approval notice is lost somewhere in the mail. Tried calling the NVC at the number provided here on the forum - busy all the time.

Please help.

I don't know what to do.

Follow those steps. You should be able to get the NVC Casenumber on the AVR , with your USCIS casenumber.

NVC is open till midnight, EST. Good Luck !

I am in same boat. we didnot receive my mom's NOA2 yet .It has been 12 days. Also I called NVC but it says no result found for that case.

Consulate: Mumbai, INDIA

11/24/09: I-130 Mailed(UPS) to Chicago Lockbox for Parents & Siblings

11/30/09: Received by USCIS

12/07/09: ND for both parents

12/11/09: NOA1 Received for both parents

03/10/10: I-130 approved ( LUD on USCIS online ) ( For Mom's case )

04/17/10: I-130 approved ( LUD on USCIS online ) ( For Dad's case )

04/19/10: Received I-130 approved notices (NOA2) ( For Dad's case )

NVC: ( Mom's case )

03/30/10: NVC Case #s assigned to mother's case.

04/02/10: Rcvd. emails for DS-3032 and AOS Fee .

04/02/10: Emailed DS-3032.

04/05/10: Rcvd auto response from NVC ( Did mail too via USPS ).

04/05/10: Paid AOS fees.

04/06/10: Paid IV visa fees.

04/07/10: AOS fee processed. Got cover letter for AOS.

04/30/10 : Mial out AOS packet.

08/09/10 : Case completed

NVC: ( Dad's case )

04/19/10: NVC Case #s assigned to case.

04/22/10: Rcvd. emails for DS-3032 and AOS Fee .

04/23/10: Emailed DS-3032.

04/27/10: Rcvd auto response from NVC ( Did mail too via USPS ).

XX/XX/10: Paid AOS fees. ( Asked to cover using Mom's case fees ) They sent me AOS Cover letter in 2 days in email.

04/25/10: Paid IV visa fees.

04/28/10: IV fee processed. Got cover letter for AOS.

04/30/10 : Mial out AOS packet.

08/09/10 : Case completed

Called the NVC, they were able to find the case and I registered the emails.

The NOA2 still has not arrived, however the USCIS said they could resend after 30 days.

Is NOA2 needed for anything else further in the process?
