In all likelihood you will be approved without an interview. You can take a look at my timeline, we also were transferred to CSC. Keep in mind though that there are those who approved almost immediately after transfer, and others that wait months and months. Hopefully you'll be in the first boat! Congrats on the transfer, it really does take alot of the pressure off knowing that you don't have to go through the interview.

Our case took 79 days to get approved, which seems to be longer than average judging by other people's timelines. They don't seem to go in order and it's really a mystery to me why some cases get approved in a couple of weeks and others wait several months. Now that we're approved it's such a relief to be done with the process without having to go through a stressful interview.

All this AOS transferring to CSC is new to me.....is there any rhyme or reason as to which cases get transferred and does it matter which Local Office you would normally have gone to? Any more information on this transferring thing would be really helpful! We only just filed for AOS on July 29th (no check cashing yet) so we are still REALLY new in the game.

I'm sorry :unsure:

Thanks, Ms Squitto :)

It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't read in other people's timelines every day that they got approved even though they filed a lot later.......but hey, that's USCIS for you, right? :innocent:

@JamesMiranda:

There was an entire thread discussing whether there is any logic behind the different timelines of the CSC transferees......look back a couple of days, you should be able to find it (or look though my last postings, I posted in that thread as well).

But the common opinion was, that there is NO logic whatsoever involved :D

EDIT: Here's the link to the thread:
