Birth Cert Translation

I realized that I have so many questions! But I can never seem to get them all at once. So here's one.

I was wondering, my husband was born in Morocco so his birth certificate is in arabic. His mother had it translated into english a few years ago, for F-1 purposes, and brought us a copy last month. My question is: Can we just make a photo copy of the translated page which is certified by the translater, or do we need to get a new translation?

If you need a new translation. You can send get one from the Moroccan Embassy in New York. I'll give you the web site. We sent my husband's birth certificate to them and had it returned with the translation within two weeks. We needed it when we filed our AOS paperwork last year. As to using the one you have, I'm not sure. But the translation is very inexpensive and quick.

as long as the birth certificate is transalated by an american certified tranlator,you can use a copy of that translation.if the birth certificate is tranlated by someone in Morocco,than you need to find a new translator here in usa

There is a translation place at 2nd and South (off South, on 2nd) . They did Yasin's translation.
