My husband just called several CS and they all said they wanted him to retake the medical exam (he is K1 and had his done within the last year), and charge $200-$300. Anyone know of any in the Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Antelope Valley or San Fernando Valley that is not interested in ripping you off?

I don't know how close he is to Glendale, but I had mine done in the Central Medical Center in Glendale and I think it was $120 for the medical, and then extra for any vaccines I had to get.

that's all fine but it's still $120 for a medical that USCIS says you don't need to have done and I have proof of having all the necessary vaccines,so all they need to do is check the copies of my medical I had in Holland last year and fill out and sign the forms....

Before this list or this thread was opened, I was able to ask Rob and Mel where they went for the I-693.

Rob and Mel sent me this:

City/ Town: Torrance

Date of Service: Oct 2008

CS Name: Dr. Jeffrey A Ostriker

CS Tel. no: Ph: (310) 328-3421 (2406 Torrance Boulevard, Torrance, CA 90501)

Cost: $50 (Just for transcription - all vacc. up to date)

Vaccine Transcription only available: y

Turnaround time: ~2-3 business days

I went to Dr. Ostriker's clinic in December last year. I was asked to pick up the sealed envelope two days later. I didn't take any new shots. I had no RFE either. I am about to have my interview in less than a week from today. I've heard that applicants living in CA rarely or don't get transferred to CSC at all so here I am, getting ready for my interview.

All the best for your journey!

TY very much! I will give this info to my husband. It is a bit of a drive, but MUCH better than payin $200-$300 for a medical he doesn't need.
