I am encouraged by one story I read on this website about a similar situation as ours in which a Thai woman who recently filed for Adjustment of Status was able to get emergency Advance Parole on time to attend her sister's wedding. However, that couple indicated that it was very fortunate that they had already had biometrics done when they received an appointment via Infopass at the local field office to ask for accelerated the Advance Parole documents. Does anyone know of a way to accelerate the biometrics appointment so that we, too, can approach the field office for emergency Advance Parole?

You don't need biometrics for your AP, just for your GC and EAD, so you should be able to ask for emergency AP even if you havent gotten your biometrics done, as long as you have your NOA.

True, but their Biometrics letter shouldn't be far away and if they miss it they may get denied so it's a valid question. I know however that you can reschedule the biometrics if you need to so have someone checking your mail every day.
