We are trying to finish the forms for my packet 3 to be sent back to montreal but the form DS-160 is giving me a headache with it wanting a picture. We dont have any that fit what it says it wants. on my sheet that tells me what forms i have to send back it says i also need a "confirmation receipt regrading Form DS-160" we have filled out all the info and without uploading a pic you cant click on the next button. we went to preview and printed the info off there but we arent getting a confirmation receipt..... I'm just wondering what exactly are they talking about when they say "confirmation receipt"? and when we print out the forms through the preview does it have all the questions it asked you about?? I think it does but i couldnt really tell.

Sorry if someone has asked this before and I know i had mentioned the picture thing before but still not working like I thought it would. thank you anyone who can help with this

Im pretty sure a lot of people couldnt get that thing to work (myself included), just fill it out, go through it, and at the end, try to attach a picture, it wont let you, then it allows you to proceed without a picture, you just have to bring an extra to the intervew is what others have said.

if you look at the example on vj you will see it is in total 5 pages.

4 are all your answers, and the 5th is the confirmation with the dos logo on top and a barcode with a number below it. at the end of the process you have the option to print out all pages and email yourself this confirmation.

do not worry about the picture. i did not have one. however i went through the whole picture test / upload thing because you have to or it will not work. soon as you start the form it asks you to do a test. make sure you do it.

that should work.

edit*

i'm wondering if the issue is the dos site is getting too many ppl trying to do it same time. Seems alot of ppl lately are all trying to do the forms..me thinks maybe the site can only handle so many users at once..

Just wanted to say thank you. We got the form filled out and printed. we are going to be sending my packet 3 forms back to Montreal when I get back to Canada. We figured it was better to send from Canada then it is from the U.S. hopefully they will get there faster.

Ok so i have another question. I might sound stupid but i just want to be sure. On the form DS-156k it says "the following documents must be attached in order to apply for a fiance nonimmigrant visa" then it lists birth certificate, birth certificate of children listed in number five, police certificates evidence of engagement to your fiance and evidence of financial support. I was just wondering if we have to send in all that stuff right now or do we just bring it to the interview? or do we send in copies and bring the originals to the interview. I dont have a police certificate yet..... Also with the police clearance do i have to go get one from Sarina and Windsor sense i lived in both cities from the age of 16 or does it cover all of canada??
