I filed my K1 last November and received my NO2 at the end of February. I was worried something was wrong because its been almost 4 weeks. So I called the NVC and typed in my WAC number and the computer systems said "We are sorry we have not received your petition from CIS". So I called back to talk to and operator. The operator verified my phone number and email address. She said we are sorry for the delay but your petition is undergoing additional processing. I asked what the meant but she said that’s all I can say right now.

Has anyone had this issue before?

Thanks in advance

Background checks/AP can happen at ANY part of the stage, including NVC.

For K-1s, the case # is not loaded into the AVR. You will need to speak to an operator for that.

The longest AP in NVC I've seen around here was for 60 days.
