Random mailing question

Hi! I have one more question about mailing all of the forms. My whole package is about 2 or 3 in. thick. How the heck am I supposed to mail this? I was told to go through USPS, but what kind of envelope should I use? Any suggestions?

That is thick, may I ask why? There's not a whole lot that gets sent in with AOS.

But anyway, surely you can fit it into one of those priority mailers, no?

We are adjusting from F-1 status and have to file the I-130, I-485, I-765, I-864, and the lady at the Phila office told us to copy his passport, old and new, cover to cover. So therefore it's very thick.

It should fit in the priority envelopes from the post office.

They told you to copy every page of all his old and new passports? Wow. I hope this isn't the requirement, because I only sent the main info page and the visa stamp pages of my current passport. I thought this was the requirement (its all I ever sent for my H1-B visa).

Copying blank pages seemed a bit extreme IMO. But as already mentioned, post office has envelopes that can fit anything.

I only copied the important pages and although i recieve an RFE it wasnt for anything to do with the passport.

Honestly, I think that's all you need. The lady at the Philly office was being a bit ####### saying you needed a copy of the whole passport. I must have filed for visa extensions 4 times already, and never had they wanted any more than the id and visa page.
