There are those who are adamant about the HealthCare bill. And claim to be experts. However, I find it ridiculous funny also that these so called expert never went to college or studied intensely about finances. One way to find out if these bill is worth the effort is to wait to find out.

Politicians aren't experts. They build their reputation on charm. I think this HealthCare bill will work out just fine despite the contrary.

Here's an example of mis-information that people should learn to how much fighting isn't even worth its effort. A majority of people in the US claims that during Columbus times, people believed the world was flat. That is absolutely false. The Spanish knew the Earth was round, and so does every country on the European continent. But, everywhere you go people will tell you that those times, everyone think the earth was flat and Columbus proved it was round.

The only way to find out if this bill works is by giving it a chance. So many people despise it. They don't even know anything about the bill other than the rhetorical talking points from opinion news stations who claim to be experts in the field of reporting.

Look at how much government involvement there is in Western Europe, Japan and Australia....do you think there is too much in these countries?? The melodrama about America on its way to a communist nation spouted by the likes of the RWN and Fox News is a joke.

1. A government dealing with the private sector is not socialist. Once again check the definition of socialism. I'd say as Rush but he's a high school dropout.

2. Funny that you don't seem to have a problem with the exact same relationship in the defense sector.

Only difference is that the defense is worth $1.3 trillion per year and rising, versus the $940 billion over 10 years. But hey, what am I going to expect from you guys as definitions is not your forte. After all, the party that says 'Country first!' does not give a damn about the heart of a country and its number one asset - its people. This recession and the recommended responses, or lack of, really illuminate who cares about their people.

Every time Repubs speak, I just remember that these guys are part of the same scumbags who in a time of crisis are more interested in being able to carry firearms in Parks.

When the quality of life, house value, salary, lifespan, livability, quality of infrastructure, cities comes close to that of Canada or Australia.

How can this be far?

What happened to the emergency care that the community foot the bill. If everyone had affordable insurance, the pay to the emergency care would be less.

Also, there's a small measure placed last night on student loans as well. Alot of people who have never been to college will say, "it's not fair, the gov't shouldn't take control of student loans" or "it'll reduce competitiveness of private lenders" or even to the point of "what about those who don't pay student loans?"

There is a problem of mis-information here. First, for every dollar spent on a student in college, an average of seven dollars the US and the community gets back when he or she graduates. Private lenders will capitalize on higher interest than the federal government. And, they're picky on who gets the loans. If you have bad credit due to failure to make a payment on credit cards where you used it to spend on books, the chance of getting those loans are non-existent. And, suppose if these students who are bright in school but struggling to make payments to school must drop out. That'll increase the dropout rate of students. Therefore, reducing the overall local and regional economy since most will not buy houses due to small income. Catch 22.

Now, a different scenerio where "what about those students who don't pay back the loans?" argument. I will tell you that if you owe more than 10k and failed to make a payment, the federal gov't will bring you to court and garnish your wages. However, I doubt that anybody has a degree will make minimum wage. And, for those who go to a public school, their average debt to payback is probably in the mere 20k-30k. Nothing like the private schools.

Since the gov't is elected by the people, whenever there is something negative about some sort of legislation, the people will elect another candidate that will turn things around.

Some of those Republicans actually failed to support Bill Clinton, the last president who actually succeeded in cutting the size of government, and who actually ran a budget surplus. In fact, some of them voted for his impeachment!

It's getting rich now, why don't you list all the ways he cut Government.... but please, no need to mention stuff like: The GOPs welfare reform which he finally signed... which was nice, but lets not call it "his".

Or the massive military cuts which took place downsizing from the Cold war.
