I-129F/petition

So I read on this site everything that my fiance needs to send in to petition me for the K-1. The I-129F form, the G-325A form for the both of us, a cover letter, letter of intention, photos etc... but since he is deployed we wanted to check with the Military Helpline listed on the immigration site. He called, and they said ALL he needs to send in is the I-129F and then wait for a call to interview. If we want it expedited we have to explain why, so ok, a cover letter. That's all?

You need to send everything listed in the guides. The person you talked to probably meant the whole package, not just the one form.

We also need to explain why we would like it expedited... it is because we have both been on tour and could not start this process until we were done. We have had to wait over 10months already and with me having just finished a contract I no longer have work and am living with my parents until the Visa can be approved. It will be difficult for me to visit, making us spend more time apart, adding up the total time apart to almost two years beyond our control. Stresses of deployment are hard enough on a person, we are happy to abide by all the necessary steps but the added time consumption is painful on our relationship. We want him to focus on his job with the US Army and not have to spend all his energy on making sure his future wife can live with him. How can I put all that professionally and nicely? =)

I haven't seen my fiance since Oct 5 2009. During the summer before deployment he had to leave for 2-3 weeks at a time several times for training... more time apart will make us go crazy! Thankfully we have a lot of love and have been able to get through this well so far.
