Hi all,

This site is very informative.

This will be my first post. I have started my wife I-130 papework and sent to USCIS on December 29. I recieved my NOA2 on March 5 and NVC notice on March 9. I paid the AOS fee.

I sent in my AOS (with supporting doucments)in to NVC. My wife have already mailed a hard copy of the "Choice of Agent" signed to them (I emailed her a copy and had her print it out and sent it in).

It should arrived this week to them.

I have sent NVC her birth certificate (certified copy), our original marriage license (Dated 10-12-09...got it when i visit her 11-25-09), and two of her photos.

I have asked my wife to send me her police record. Will NVC need this now or can she bring this to the interview? It takes up to 45 days to get the record (according to the Vietnam policy).

She will file for it today. She and I have never been married or got in trouble with the law. Am I missing any other documents?

I am assuming after they recieve the "Choic of Agent" and approve it, I can pay the IV fee?

Lastly, can someone give me a guess as to when the paperwork from NVC gets to the consular in Vietnam?

Thanks!
