First NOA, yesterday!

Well I'm pleased to say that I already got my first NOA yesterday. It came sooner than I expected. Now what can I expect happens next? Is there any good way to know how long before they look at it? I know there is a way to check the speed your service center. Mine's in Nebraska.

Service Center : Nebraska Service Center

Consulate : Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

I-129F Sent : 2006-02-07

I-129F NOA1 : 2006-02-14

I-129F RFE(s) : None

I-129F NOA2 : 2006-04-24

NVC Received : 2006-05-09

Packet 3 Received : 2006-06-09

Packet 3 Sent : 2006-06-26

Called Cons. and was told Interview date: Sept. 26!

Packet 4 Received week later: 2006-08-16

Congratulations!!!

VJ's answer :

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated as early as June 23, 2006*.

If this date has passed by more than 10 days or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

What can you expect next? Nothing for awhile depends on your Service center. It took us 45 days to get an approval for my I-129F. So give or take, 2 months or more without RFE, sometimes it takes a lot less!

Again, this is a great news!

We received our NOA from Nebraska on January 3rd and are still waiting. Our NOA receipt indicated 60 to 90 days for processing through Nebraska.

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
