Wife Finally Coming Home! Re: JFK Immigration

I have a question for those of you who have had a loved one come through the JFK POE. Can I meet my wife before she goes before the immigration officer or be present at the time she sees the immigration officer? I'm interested in the mechanics of it.

Last time I was at JFK I was a boy. I don't remember anything so... I visualize driving to NYC to JFK... parking in some parking lot... then I head to arrivals... find her flight number and gate number... This is where I draw a blank.

Since this is an international flight I'm sure I just can't go to the gate itself and finder her stepping off the plane... go to baggage claim and drive home... too easy blush.gif

Do I seek some employee or official to some "secret area" for spouses or fiances?

03-18-10 Visa in hand! Need CFO sticker though... bummer.

First let me say Congrats!!!

I think, mind you this is only a guess but I think, you could meet her in the baggage claims area... After she exits the immigration area.

You would need to ask the guards at the airport.
