Ok, I think I've spent too long on this now so I'm starting to second guess myself. But, there have been several times in this process that I thought I had the right form or steps only to find out I was incorrect. Thus, I am asking here. I went to my local IRS office to get supporting documents on my income for the AOS package. On the top it says "Wage and Income Transcript" and it also says "Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement" and lists all of my income from employers, taxes withheld, etc. Now, I have been thinking that the W2 and the tax transcript spoken of here on VJ are one in the same and that is what these documents I have here are. Am I correct or is it something else that I need?

Thanks! Getting ready to send this out as soon as I get the employment letters from my two jobs and just want to make sure everything is a-ok!

No, what you need is a "tax return transcript". You can order them online or call and have them faxed.

The ones with W-2s take about 30 days, the ones we got said ten days, got in three... Since we have copies of his W2s, we only needed the regular transcript. THESE LINKS ARE FOR DIFFEREFNT FORMS THAT ARE NOT THE SAME THING BUT HAVE OPTIONS TO SELECT TRANSCRIPT REQUEST- see which one'll suit u best

04/26/12 - Hardcopy NOAs Received

05/17/10 - Biometrics letter

05/24/12 - Successful Walk-in Biometrics in Dover DE

01/25/13 - APPROVED- ROC card production ordered

02/05/13 - 10 YEAR Green Card received

Naturalization (5 months 2 days or 155 days)
