I was trying to figure out on GOOGLE about AP details, can anybody tell me what AP processing includes?

No one realy knows, what they do in AP. But everyone guess is name check/documents etc. Maybe here some one can provide you more info.

AP is very mysterous, evasive, and allusive. For one thing we know it does not make since. It probably has to do with checking the authentencity of your documents - who knows. I suggest you contact your Senator and get them involved in the process and they should be able to help provide you some answers.

Ap is a catch all for "we aren't ready yet" It can mean that security checks are hung up, it can mean that they think that want to do a home/neighborhood visit. In Nigeria they sometimes go to the marriage registry to check the entries. Some countries certain checks can be harder because of the state of record keeping. I think sometimes they do it to test if you are going to pursue the visa by pestering them. Because it doesn't mean one thing you never know how long it will take.
