I just obtained a lawyer for my spouse in Peru. It is Saturday so no way to contact her. She said I needed a letter of intent. Seems like that is for the fiance visa only ? I paid for the spousal k-3 visa. I was married in Peru on March 9th . I live in Texas. Thanks, James

A letter of intent to marry is pretty silly for married people. Have your attorney read the special notice about K3 visas on the DOS website and then refund the extra fee for filing the second petition. K3 is dead. You'll need to obtain a CR1 visa.
