I didn't watch the whole video, but the Cambridge Friends School is a private Quaker school. From their mission statement: "As part of our commitment to social justice, we are engaged in building an antiracist, antihomophobic community, and we actively seek students and staff from a diverse range of family structures and racial, cultural, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. Our community tries to go beyond mere tolerance to more deeply address issues of bias and privilege."

I work on a trading floor. We have traders who scream like this all the time. It's what they do.

Of course I can relate to all the conversational vulgarities (USMC) but I can't recall anyone carrying on like this directly to a lady.

And as I said, no one speaks to me like they are coming UNHINGED... unless I really, really did something stupid.

IN the (unnamed) business I work in, I have to actually use restraint in even speaking with animation..... less people take offense or consider me unprofessional. (which could cost me a great deal)

BUt all this raises a good question for those who see sexism everywhere, is it sexist to change ones vocab when one is speaking to or in the presence of females at work?
