I submitted about 2-3 copies of my birth certificate (I'm the petitioner) in the I-130 and I-485 when we filed back in December. I forgot to make a copy of it and to go and get one would mean taking time off work (and additional money) to go get another one printed.

Should I go get another one, or do you think they will have at least one of them in their files when we go for the interview? Did any of you get asked for your birth certificate? We have my husband's (the applicant) BC from the UK, but wanted to check on mine.

I'm really trying not to stress out about this. I'm looking for responses from those who have already gone through the interview process...

They might not even ask about it, but you know how it is...If it's on the interview letter check list, try to get it again. Just in case.

Good luck at the interview!!!! (F) (F)

I brought exactly the same copy of the package that I mailed to Chicago, in addition, with more evidence of our marriage.

The interviewer did not ask for any document that I'd submitted in the package. She only asked for the supplemental materials -- joint 1040 of 2009, more pictures, our email copies, plane e-tickets copies, rental lease, utility bills, joint bank account, joint car insurance docs, joint medical insurance docs...

Basically she just took all the docs which can show we are a real married couple. But, this was my case in Los Angeles office, I can't guarantee the same with other interviewer or in other offices.

Good luck!
