Hi,Vjers

I've started filling out all of the forms for AOS. I have few Qs.

On the form g-325a(USC-petitioner),

1. Does he need to put file number? ( My hubby is USC through naturalization. I saw A# on certificate of naturalization.)

2. Applicant's last address outside of the US more than 1year? (He's been in the US more than 12yrs. Does he still need to put his home country address?)

3. Which one he should mark? This form is submitted in connection with an application for: naturalization, status as permanent resident, other(specify)

4. On the bottom in the bold box, does he need to put an alien registration number? Is a file # and alien registration # same one?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks a ton... :)

Unless you're filing an I-130 and I-485 concurrently, there is no G325a for the petitioner. If the petitioner ever had an A number or file number (same thing) then provide it if known or write unknown. If never had one, then "NONE".

"Status as Permanent Resident" is what is being adjusted to. If ever lived outside the US more than a year enter the last address. If never, indicate "N/A".

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Thanks for the reply.

I'm going to send I-130, I-485, I-765, I-864,g-325a and I-693 so I need to send my hubby's g-325a as well.

According to your opinion, I understood 1,2,4(thanks a lot). I'm still confused q#3. My g-325a, of course, I need to mark status as permanent resident. What about my husband's g-325a? Which one he needs to mark among naturalization, status as permanent resident and other(specify)? He is USC therefore, I don't think he need to mark on naturalization. Does he need to mark status as permanent resident just like me or other? :help:

If anyone knows about this, please help me.

Thank you.

That is a good questions, I am filing the same exact forms for my Canadian wife (i'm a USC)

If you read it carefully, it says "This form is submitted in connection with an application for"

The key word if connection so I am going to put Status as Permanent Resident for my G325 as well as for my wife's.

Please don't quote me on this, you should confirm with other sources but this is the only logical choice for me

Hope that helps!

Thanks

So I have the same question.

I am currently in the US under Student Visa. If I understand it correctly:

for my USC husband g325A, I should mark " other" and write" I-130 Petition for alien relative" .

for me, I would mark " status as permanent resident"

can someone correct me?

thank you
