I am a US Citizen about to be relocated out to the US for job reasons, my wife is a permanent resident being married with me for more than three years, her english is really bad for her to take the risk and apply for the US Citizenship before our trip, so, my question would be:

How can she leave the US without loosing her permanent resident status until she learn ENglish and properly apply for her US citizenship?

Comments/suggestions/recommendations are welcomed and very appreciated.

I-131 will give her authorization to return for up to two years - be careful though, you can only leave the country once you have this approved form in your hands.

Also look into N-470 - that preserves your residency for naturalization purposes.
